Merchants Quay Ireland (MQI) is a registered charity dedicated to supporting people affected by homelessness and addiction across the Republic of Ireland. Through a compassionate, non‑judgemental approach, MQI provides a comprehensive suite of services—including hot meals, hot showers at the Riverbank Centre, GP visits, food provision, health‑care, mental‑health support and specialised addiction programmes—to help individuals regain stability and hope.

In the past year the organisation assisted over 135,000 clients, delivered more than 660,000 hot meals and facilitated 43,570 GP appointments, underscoring its pivotal role in the community. MQI also runs innovative initiatives such as a Medically Supervised Injecting Facility, which offers a safe, hygienic environment for people who use drugs and connects them with treatment and social services.

Beyond direct support, MQI encourages community fundraising, corporate partnerships and tax‑efficient giving, and even offers the option to leave a legacy gift, ensuring that generosity can continue to make a lasting impact.
