Atlantic Youth Trust CLG is an Irish‑registered charity dedicated to building life‑skills, resilience and teamwork in young people through the challenge of the sea. By offering hands‑on sail‑training and adventure voyages on historic tall ships, the Trust connects youth from across the island of Ireland with the maritime heritage that underpins the Irish diaspora story.

The organisation runs a fleet of restored vessels – notably the Grace O’Malley Leader and Grace O’Malley Brian Boru – which serve as passenger and sail‑training platforms. Through a range of programmes, including “Taste of Sail” training trips, voyage‑trainee placements and individual cadet courses, Atlantic Youth Trust delivers education, youth development, tourism and enterprise opportunities.
