Donal Walsh # LiveLife Foundation Company Limited by Guarantee is a charitable organisation founded by the family of Donal Walsh, the Kerry teenager whose inspiring writings and appearance on RTE’s The Saturday Night Show raised national awareness of teenage mental‑health issues. The foundation’s core mission is to promote Donal’s anti‑suicide “LiveLife” message by visiting schools and community venues, and by creating age‑appropriate spaces for young people in hospitals and hospice care.

Through fundraising and strategic partnerships, the foundation has already allocated more than €500,000 to projects that support Irish teenagers, including dedicated “Donal’s Den” rooms at Tralee Hospice and “Donal’s Rooms” at Milford Hospice, as well as a specially designed space at Pieta House. These facilities provide safe, welcoming environments where young people can receive emotional support and respite during treatment.
