Clare’s Little Stars Preschool & Afterschool Service is a privately‑owned early‑years centre that has been delivering high‑quality childcare in the heart of Ballybofey since 2013. Operating from a spacious, purpose‑built premises on Glenfin Road, the centre serves families from Ballybofey, Stranorlar and the surrounding hinterland, offering a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 2 years 8 months to 12½ years.

The service is split into two complementary programmes. The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) preschool runs from 9 am to 12 noon (or 12.20 pm to 3.30 pm) and is free of charge for eligible families, providing both large‑group and small‑group options that focus on play‑based learning and social development. The All Stars Afterschool programme extends care until 6.30 pm for school‑age children, delivering a flexible, activity‑rich curriculum that promotes wellbeing, inclusivity and personal interests. Both streams are fully insured, comply with Irish quality and regulatory frameworks, and benefit from the National Childcare Scheme subsidies.
