ASSOCIATION OF LEADERS OF MISSIONARIES AND RELIGIOUS OF IRELAND COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Association of Leaders of Missionaries and Religious of Ireland (AMRI) is a company limited by guarantee that brings together Religious Institutes, Societies of Apostolic Life and lay missionary organisations. Its core purpose is to foster active collaboration, offering leadership and governance support while responding to both current and emerging challenges in Ireland and abroad.

AMRI energises the life and ministries of its members and the wider Church through a range of initiatives, including training programmes, events, webinars and a dedicated Justice Desk. Its work is anchored in four key aims: providing leadership support, championing social and ecological justice, advancing a synodal vision of the Church, and developing a collaborative network that serves as a service-provider for its members.

Through newsletters, reports such as the Religious Freedom Report 2025, and projects ranging from AI insights for ministry to global health advocacy, AMRI strives to inspire hope, relevance and a renewed sense of mission across the Irish Catholic community and its international partners.
