Musicantia Company Limited By Guarantee is a Dublin-based Roma cultural and advocacy project that runs a vibrant music school for young people from Roma backgrounds. By offering instrumental tuition on a diverse range of instruments - from drum kits and keyboards to accordions, violin and saxophone - the organisation nurtures a distinctive Balkan-inspired sound while fostering musical talent within the second-generation Irish-Roma community.

Beyond music education, Musicantia works to promote the integration of Roma communities into Irish society, championing cultural and sporting potential and delivering training for service providers to prevent discrimination and racism. All teachers and volunteers are Garda-vetted and the project operates under a robust Child Protection Policy, underscoring its commitment to safe, inclusive learning environments.

Through regular concerts, fundraising events such as the Musicantia Extravaganza, and advocacy programmes that address health inequalities for Roma women and children, the charity-in-formation strives to empower Roma individuals, enhance community cohesion and ensure continued access to mainstream services across Ireland.
