Company Description
The Polish Scouting Association (Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego - ZHP) is a youth-development organisation for children and young people of Polish heritage living in Ireland. Drawing on more than 70 years of continuous activity abroad, ZHP continues the pre-war scouting tradition founded in Poland in 1910, offering a values-based programme that blends adventure, community service and personal growth.
ZHP runs a full range of age-specific sections - Skrzaty, Zuchy, Harcerze and Wędrownicy - each delivering weekly gatherings, camps, hikes, first-aid courses and badge-earning challenges. The programme encourages participants to discover talents, build friendships and develop qualities such as loyalty, compassion and leadership, all under the guidance of the Scout Law. With centres in Cork, Dublin, Waterford, Wexford, Shannon and Limerick, the association supports bilingual children and teenagers, helping them explore the world in both Polish and English while fostering a strong sense of belonging to a vibrant, international scouting community.
