Waterford Viking Marathon Company Limited By Guarantee is the charitable organiser behind Ireland's most inclusive and scenic running festival. Each June the company delivers the Waterford Viking Marathon Running Festival, a two-day event that showcases a full marathon, full-marathon relay, half marathon, 10 km, a dedicated Children's Run and a Disability-Friendly Run. Participants race through the historic heart of Waterford, alongside the River Suir, and enjoy the vibrant colours of Mount Congreve Gardens, making the event a celebration of both sport and the region's natural heritage.

The festival is designed for runners of all abilities, offering non-competitive distances for youngsters and an 8.5 km accessible route for participants with disabilities. In addition to the races, the organisation supports community causes, partnering with the RNLI and local media outlet WLR to promote charitable fundraising and regional engagement.
