SILVERSTREAM PRIORY

Silverstream Priory is a Benedictine monastery of perpetual adoration founded in 2012 under the patronage of Our Lady of the Cenacle. Nestled amid pasture and forest in the eastern reaches of County Meath, the community lives a life of ceaseless prayer before the Most Holy Sacrament, following the traditional Benedictine use of Latin, Gregorian chant and the "Usus Antiquior" form of the Roman Rite. The Priory celebrates the Divine Office and Holy Mass on a regular horarium, offering sung Masses with incense, low Masses and special Christmas liturgies, as well as daily Vespers at 5:15 p.m. (5 p.m. on Sundays) with Benediction on Sundays, Thursdays, First Fridays and major solemnities.

The monastery also supports the faithful through its Benedictine Eucharistic Guild and the St Michael Auxilium ministry, and it extends its prayerful presence by livestreaming Vespers from St Patrick's Church in Stamullen. Visitors are welcome to join adoration, Vespers and other liturgical celebrations, with limited seating in the oratory and overflow accommodation in the entrance hall. Silverstream Priory therefore serves both the local Catholic community and anyone seeking a traditional, contemplative worship experience.
