Ablevision Ireland is a media-production and training organisation dedicated to empowering people with intellectual disabilities. By placing its production crews at the centre of the creative process, the charity enables participants to tell their own stories, challenge stereotypes and become role models for others facing similar challenges.

The company offers hands-on training in camera work, sound, editing and broader creative arts, producing video shorts, documentaries and short films that have been broadcast on national platforms such as RTE's *Nationwide* and Sky TV. Notable achievements include three 30-minute documentaries on Sky, a short film shortlisted for the Oska Bright Film Festival in New York, Adelaide and Moscow, and a feature screened at the Belfast Film Festival. Ablevision also organises an International Film Festival, most recently in Drogheda, attracting entries from the US, UK, South America, Ethiopia and Ireland.
