Women for Election (WfE) is a Dublin-based charitable organisation dedicated to advancing gender equality in Irish political life. By curating research, data and public-engagement programmes, WfE shines a light on the progress and challenges faced by women candidates, TDs, Senators, MEPs and local councillors. Their flagship initiatives include a comprehensive Women in Irish Politics Data Hub, a suite of free training courses for aspiring female politicians, and an EU-funded project tackling gender-based violence against women in politics.
