Open Water Swimmer Limited is an Irish‑based organiser of open‑water swimming events, created “by swimmers, for swimmers”. Since 2012 the company has built the country’s most accessible and welcoming race series, ranging from short, beginner‑friendly distances to longer, competitive swims such as the flagship 1,500‑metre Glendalough National Park Swim in Co Wicklow. All events are designed to be fun, safe and professional, with the support of partners such as Dryrobe, and they welcome participants of any ability – from wetsuit enthusiasts and skins advocates to first‑time open‑water swimmers, triathletes, wild swimmers and senior athletes.

The core service is the planning and delivery of well‑run, community‑focused swim festivals that cater to a diverse crowd of over 8,000 participants. Swimmers receive comprehensive pre‑event information via email, and the company offers guidance on equipment, age requirements (minimum 18 years) and water‑temperature considerations.
