ELPHIN RESOURCE CENTRE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Elphin Resource Centre Company Limited by Guarantee is a community-driven organisation based in Elphin, County Roscommon. Formed to revitalise the former Bishop Hodson Grammar School, the committee is overseeing a comprehensive redevelopment that will deliver an astro-turf pitch, playground, basketball court, a new preschool facility and a fully refurbished resource centre.

The centre's core aim is to provide a safe, inclusive space for residents of all ages, with a particular focus on young people aged 15-25. By offering a range of physical and non-physical activities - from sport and play to arts, music and hobby clubs - the centre seeks to promote mental wellbeing, foster a sense of belonging and counteract the social challenges of drug and alcohol misuse.

Through these facilities and programmes, Elphin Resource Centre aspires to become a hub of community pride, encouraging healthy lifestyles and a vibrant, supportive environment for Elphin and its surrounding areas.
