ARC CANCER SUPPORT CENTRES

Arc Cancer Support Centres is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing free, client-centred support for anyone affected by cancer in Ireland. By creating a welcoming haven, the service offers psychological, emotional, practical and educational assistance to men, women and children (aged four and up) as well as their families, carers and healthcare professionals.

The three ARC centres operate on a drop-in basis and host a range of therapeutic appointments, including counselling, acupuncture, reflexology and manual lymph drainage. Remote options are also available through a telephone support line and virtual counselling sessions. In addition, ARC runs regular online programmes-such as weekly stress-management, relaxation, mindfulness and yoga classes via Zoom-plus support groups and educational workshops tailored to patients, families, children and those moving on after cancer. All services are delivered at no cost to the user.

Through volunteer and fundraising opportunities, ARC invites the community to help sustain these vital services, ensuring that anyone facing cancer in Ireland can access the care and companionship they need, every step of the way.
