First Fortnight Company Limited By Guarantee is a charitable organisation dedicated to challenging mental-health prejudice and stigma through the transformative power of the arts. By weaving together creative practice and community engagement, the charity ensures that mental-health conversations are open, supportive and embedded in everyday life across Ireland.

The charity's work centres on two flagship initiatives. The Centre for Creative Arts Therapies delivers free, year-round art, music and drama therapy for children, adolescents and adults at risk of homelessness, using trauma-informed, person-centred approaches to build resilience and positive coping strategies. The First Fortnight Annual Festival showcases a vibrant programme of visual-arts exhibitions, virtual-reality experiences, spoken-word performances and live music, all designed to celebrate creativity as a catalyst for healing. Through these programmes, First Fortnight creates inclusive spaces where creativity and mental-health advocacy intersect, fostering a society that talks about mental health without stigma.
