COW HOUSE STUDIOS LIMITED

Cow House Studios is a rural school and artist‑residency set within the O’Gorman family farm in County Wexford, Ireland. Founded by practising artists Rosie O’Gorman and Frank Abruzzese, the studio harnesses 180 acres of pasture and forestry to create a vibrant hub where creators can engage directly with the surrounding landscape and the local mountainside community.

The organisation offers multidisciplinary residency programmes for emerging and established artists, alongside educational workshops and courses for students. Its flagship initiatives – Art on the Farm and FieldWorks – provide structured opportunities for creative exchange, encouraging cross‑cultural learning and experimentation across a range of media. Applications for the 2026 open residency close on 18 January, and the studio continues to welcome new participants each year.
