FOUR DISTRICTS DAY CARE COMPANY COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Four Districts Day Care Company Limited by Guarantee runs a vibrant day-care centre for senior citizens across the four localities of Saggart, Rathcoole, Newcastle and Brittas. Established in 1981 in partnership with the Eastern Health Board, the centre offers a welcoming space where older adults can socialise, enjoy a daily lunch and take part in a programme of activities designed to stimulate both body and mind.

The centre's facilities include a dedicated television room, regular group activities, and occasional outings. Additional services such as hairdressing, exercise programmes, physiotherapy and reflexology are available to help members stay active and healthy. Transportation is provided each day, with a bus collecting participants from their homes and returning them after the day's programme. Working closely with the adjacent health-centre, the centre is a registered charity (CHY 20539) and relies on a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to deliver its community-focused care.
