IRISH MEN'S SHEDS ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Men's Sheds Association (IMSA) is a national, not-for-profit organisation that champions the Men's Shed movement throughout the island. By bringing together more than 450 local sheds, IMSA provides a central hub for information, training and advocacy, helping volunteers create safe, social spaces where men can share skills, stories and support one another.

IMSA's core services include a searchable Shed Finder, step-by-step guidance on setting up new sheds, and a wealth of member resources covering health, wellbeing and governance. Through its flagship "Sheds for Life" programme - backed by the HSE, Sláintecare Integration Fund and other health partners - the association delivers targeted health initiatives such as the MaleHealth.ie portal and specialised mental-health podcasts. It also administers grant schemes for running costs, organises an annual national conference, and fosters partnerships with bodies like The Elephant in the Room Movement to amplify men's health messages.

Operating across Ireland, IMSA works with local volunteers, health professionals and public bodies to ensure that every shed can thrive as a community centre for learning, friendship and wellbeing.
