IRISH ASSOCIATION OF PHYSICISTS IN MEDICINE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Association of Physicists in Medicine (IAPM) is the professional home for medical physicists across Ireland's healthcare, industry and academic sectors. Formed in 2010 through the merger of the Association of Physical Scientists in Medicine and the Irish Radiotherapy Physics Group, the association now unites more than 250 members, the majority of whom are practising professionals, with the remainder comprising students, trainees, retirees and those currently between roles.

IAPM provides a collaborative platform for knowledge-sharing, continuing education and networking. It organises conferences and events-such as the upcoming IAPM ASM 2025-offers a dedicated mailing list to keep members informed of the latest developments, and supports the professional growth of its community through specialised resources and peer interaction. By fostering connections among physicists, the association helps advance the quality and safety of medical physics practice throughout Ireland.
