Donegal Clinical Academy Trust Company Limited By Guarantee is a charitable trust dedicated to advancing medical education and research in the north-west of Ireland. Established to spearhead the fundraising effort for a new state-of-the-art educational and research hub at Letterkenny Hospital, the Trust is working to secure the remaining €6 million needed to complement the €6 million contribution from NUI Galway for a 600-square-metre teaching space.

Beyond its core fundraising mission, the Trust runs the Donegal Clinical Academy, delivering specialised training such as the Emergency Abdominal Surgery Course and the advanced Emergency Abdominal Surgery Course, which attract national and international faculty and participants. It also supports emerging talent through initiatives like the Professor William Campbell Scholarship. By linking education, research and clinical service, the Trust aims to enhance patient care for generations to come.
