KILMAINHAM TALES TEORANTA

Kilmainham Tales Teoranta is a Dublin-based publishing and research organisation dedicated to bringing Ireland's lesser-known history to a wider audience. Founded by the late Mícheál Ó Doibhilín, a former Kilmainham Gaol guide and graphic designer, the company produces a growing catalogue of concise, well-illustrated books that explore forgotten episodes, personalities and artefacts from the 1916 Rising, the War of Independence, the Civil War and beyond.

The core offering includes the "Kilmainham Tales" series - more than 20 titles covering topics such as the Burning of the Custom House, the weapons used in the Easter Rising, and the stories of figures like Anne Devlin and Francis Ledwidge. In addition, Kilmainham Tales publishes the in-house magazine *Sentences*, organises annual conferences on historic events, and collaborates with historians, guides and local societies to produce specialist volumes and commemorative publications.
