MOUNTTOWN COMMUNITY FACILITY COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Mounttown Community Facility CLG is a vibrant, community-run centre that opened in 2010 as part of the regeneration of the Dun Laoghaire area. Managed by a voluntary board of trustees and a small team of dedicated staff, the facility is supported by community-employment participants from Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. It provides a modern, flexible space for a wide range of local activities, from children's after-school clubs and music or yoga classes to professional training sessions and corporate meetings.

The centre's key offering is its two bright, adaptable rooms - known as Park House - which can be booked online for events, workshops, or society gatherings. Each room comes fully equipped with Wi-Fi, a TV projector, digital signage, and panoramic windows, and the building also features a spacious foyer, a grand floor café and ample free parking. In addition to room hire, Mounttown hosts a lively programme of community-led classes and events, and serves as a hub for several local organisations.

Recognised for its contribution to community life, Mounttown was honoured as runner-up in the Community and Civil Pride category at the 2025 Community and Volunteer Awards. The centre continues to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents of Dun Laoghaire and the wider Dublin community.
