Maoin Cheoil na Gaillimhe is a Galway‑based charitable organisation dedicated to nurturing musical talent and celebrating the narrative power of sound. Its core mission is to frame the world we inhabit in beautiful music, offering a supportive platform for students, emerging artists and community ensembles to develop their creative voices.

The charity runs a range of programmes that include audition‑guided entry routes, specialised performing groups, and instrumental tuition, all overseen by a distinguished faculty. Artistic Director John O’Conor – a PhD‑qualified pianist and professor at the Shenandoah Conservatory, the Glenn Gould School and the Royal Irish Academy of Music – provides expert artistic leadership, while the patron, a long‑standing advocate of Galway’s musical life, lends additional credibility and outreach.
