Galway Cardiology Unlimited Company is a leading cardiac-care centre serving the west of Ireland since its establishment in 2005. Based in Galway, the clinic combines clinical cardiology with a specialist Cardiac Electrophysiology service, offering patients comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for heart rhythm disorders.

The team, led by Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist Dr Brendan O'Cochlain, provides a full suite of advanced procedures. These include electrophysiology studies, catheter and atrial-fibrillation ablations, pulmonary-vein isolation, cardioversion, and the implantation of pacemakers, biventricular pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators. Diagnostic tools such as echocardiography (including trans-oesophageal and paediatric echo), Holter and event monitors, angiograms, angioplasty and coronary stenting are also available. Additional services cover exercise stress testing, nuclear cardiology, MUGA scans, athletic screening and paediatric arrhythmia assessment.
