KARE, PROMOTING INCLUSION FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

Kare is a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities, helping them and their families build present and future lives that realise each person's potential. Drawing on a team of social-care, nursing and clinical professionals, Kare offers a comprehensive suite of services that include Day Services, Residential care, Clinical support, Outreach programmes, Employment assistance and Respite provision.

Through initiatives such as the Project Pathways traineeship-delivered in partnership with Midlands Park Hotel-Kare creates meaningful work experience for young adults, while its Early Years Preschool and family-centred activities foster inclusion and joy across the community. The organisation also celebrates achievements, from Gaisce Gold Awards presented by the President to festive gatherings that bring together staff, families and service users.
