ARD Family Resource Centre is a community‑driven organisation that supports families and individuals living in the Ardaun, Roscam and Doughiska area of Galway City. Established as a company limited by guarantee (Company No 479958, RCN 20079819), the centre’s mission is to build resilience through a range of development opportunities and practical services tailored to local needs.

The centre offers a diverse programme of support, from parenting workshops and early‑years activities to counselling and skills‑building sessions. By providing accessible resources and a welcoming space, ARD helps residents strengthen family bonds, enhance wellbeing and navigate everyday challenges. The service portfolio is designed to be inclusive, ensuring that both children and adults can benefit from the centre’s expertise.

Governance is provided by a dedicated board of directors – Fr Martin, Deirdre, Marie O, Frank Leonard, Paula O’Connor and Kasia Bocianowska – who bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to nurturing a thriving, supportive community.
