THE DUBLIN NEUROLOGICAL INSTITUTE

The Dublin Neurological Institute (DNI) is a charitable Centre of Excellence dedicated to the care, research and education of patients living with neurological conditions across Ireland. By uniting clinical expertise with cutting-edge neuroscience research, the institute works tirelessly to develop new treatments, improve existing therapies and ultimately find cures for disorders such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, headache, neuropathy, myopathy and muscular dystrophy.

Based in Dublin on the campus of the Mater University Hospital, the DNI delivers high-quality, multidisciplinary care through a team of consultants, non-consultant hospital doctors, clinical nurse specialists and allied health professionals. Patients benefit from a seamless service that can include neurologist appointments, physiotherapy, and a range of specialised clinics, all coordinated in one location. Ongoing research projects explore gait analysis, reaction times, skin sebum production, genetics and biomarkers, supporting drug discovery for neurodegenerative diseases.
