Juniors Childcare Limited is a vibrant playschool situated in Castlebar, dedicated to nurturing children aged 2 years 8 months to 5 years. Since opening its doors in 2009, the centre provides a safe, home‑like environment for up to 44 children, offering both full‑time and part‑time places as well as after‑school care.

The centre follows an emergent, play‑based curriculum that builds on each child’s ideas and interests, and it delivers the nationally recognised Aistear framework alongside the Sióltá curriculum. Learning is woven through practical life activities, sensorial experiences, language, arithmetic, cultural projects and creative studies, all designed to develop fine and gross motor skills, concentration, independence and social confidence.

A committed team of qualified staff, led by manager Toni Hamrock, brings a wealth of experience in Montessori, inclusion (LINC) and early‑years education. Their open‑door ethos creates a “home from home” atmosphere where respect, diversity and equal opportunity are at the heart of daily practice, ensuring every child can thrive physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
