THE ASSOCIATION OF IRISH RIDING ESTABLISHMENTS

The Association of Irish Riding Establishments (A.I.R.E.) is the national voice for riding centres, schools and equestrian programmes throughout Ireland. As a membership-based organisation, A.I.R.E. works to strengthen the sector by providing a single platform where centres can access funding, training and advocacy, while promoting high standards of safety and equine welfare.

Members benefit from a suite of practical services, including more than half a million euros in funding distributed over the past five years and dedicated educational grants for BHS, HSI, first-aid and therapeutic-riding courses. A.I.R.E. also offers online promotion on its websites, annual professional-development training, up-to-date safety-training listings and regional networking events across seven zones. At a national level the association represents its members on Horse Sport Ireland boards and liaises with bodies such as the Department of Agriculture, HSI, BHS and IPC on issues ranging from insurance and road safety to welfare and child-protection standards.
