THE NEW EVANGELISATION TRUST

The New Evangelisation Trust is a zero-running-cost charity dedicated to linking generous donors with Catholic evangelisation projects throughout Ireland. By managing and disbursing funds from regular donations and wills, the Trust ensures that "home missionaries" - laypeople, clergy and religious communities - receive the financial support they need to bring the Gospel into every sphere of public and private life.

Key services include a simple "Leave a Gift" scheme, a grant-application process for missionaries, free legal-advice guidance and up-to-date tax-relief information for benefactors. The Trust's grant rounds, advertised on its website, cover a wide range of initiatives such as evangelisation groups, catechetical programmes, scholarships, living expenses for missionaries, pilgrimages and building projects that further the New Evangelisation. Preference is given to causes where Trust funding makes the decisive difference, and applicants are encouraged to demonstrate complementary sources of finance.
