CLOUGHJORDAN COMMUNITY FARM COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Cloughjordan Community Farm Company Limited By Guarantee is a member-owned, community-supported agriculture (CSA) initiative situated on the Tipperary-Offaly border within the Cloughjordan district. Since its launch in 2008, the farm supplies 70-90 adult members and their families with nutritionally dense, seasonally harvested vegetables, herbs and fruit, delivered twice weekly to a central collection point.

The farm operates to strict organic standards, avoiding pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and artificial fertilisers, and employs biodynamic and agro-ecological practices to enrich the soil. It cultivates heritage varieties, saves its own seeds and offers members low-cost access to a wide range of training, educational events, farm walks, community meals and the weekly North Tipperary Online Farmers Market. Volunteers, including participants in the European Solidarity Corps scheme, gain hands-on experience in regenerative farming while contributing to the farm's social enterprise.

Membership, priced at €69.33 per adult per month (children join free), not only provides fresh produce but also invites members to engage in self-harvesting, cooking events such as "Eats & Beats", and ongoing outreach programmes that promote a just transition to sustainable food systems.
