ESB Networks Designated Activity Company is the backbone of Ireland's electricity supply, ensuring that power reaches more than 2.5 million homes and businesses safely, efficiently and round-the-clock. As part of the wider ESB Group, the company also operates Electric Ireland, the island's leading retail energy provider serving over 1.3 million households and businesses with electricity, gas and related services.

Beyond the grid, ESB Networks is driving the country's sustainable transition. It owns, operates and maintains a growing network of around 1,600 public electric-vehicle charge points, from motorway service areas to city centre car parks, and is expanding high-power charging hubs in partnership with the Climate Action Fund. The group also invests €2 million each year through its Community Benefit Funds to support projects near its wind and solar farms, and backs more than 9,700 community groups annually.
