Baseball Ireland Development Company Limited by Guarantee is the national governing body for baseball on the island, dedicated to growing the sport from grassroots to elite level. It organises a full programme of competitive leagues-including the A, B, Cadet and Little Leagues-featuring clubs such as the Dublin Spartans, Mariners Baseball, Ashbourne Giants and Belfast Northstars, and it supports representative teams, most recently the U-18 squad that impressed at the European Championship qualifier.

A key pillar of the organisation is the Baseball Ireland Academy, which runs the Strike Zone indoor training centre in Dublin, offering specialised coaching, skill-development sessions and facilities for players of all ages. Through regular news updates, events and partnerships with clubs across the country, Baseball Ireland provides a clear pathway for athletes, coaches and volunteers to engage with the sport and help it thrive throughout Ireland.
