Care Alliance – Home Care Alliance

Care Alliance is a national charity dedicated to supporting family carers in Ireland. It delivers a range of carer‑focused projects, most notably an Online Family Carer Support Project and the “Re‑emerge 2” programme, which helps carers return to paid employment or further education. Working in partnership with a wide network of NGOs, public bodies and research groups, the Alliance co‑ordinates initiatives such as National Carers Week, a multi‑agency Family Carer Research Group and joint policy submissions to government.

The organisation commissions and disseminates research, produces training, booklets, educational videos and other resources, and offers a membership platform that enables collaboration across sectoral, governmental and international partners. Its activities aim to improve information, services and policy for family carers, ensuring they receive the recognition, support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Care Alliance therefore serves family carers, their families, and the organisations that work on their behalf, driving evidence‑based change across the Irish care landscape.
