PEFC Ireland is the national governing body for the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification in the Republic of Ireland. Established in 2008 and sponsored by the Irish Timber Growers Association, the organisation administers PEFC's forest-management and chain-of-custody schemes, championing sustainable forest management and the use of credibly certified timber and wood-based products throughout the country.

The body's core activities include coordinating the PEFC Ireland Forest Management Certification Standard-setting process, overseeing chain-of-custody certification, and delivering an outreach programme aimed at the construction sector. PEFC Ireland also organises educational talks, seminars and public consultations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
