Bright Start Crèche is a purpose‑built early years centre on Clonard Road, Wexford, offering a safe, nurturing environment for children from infancy through to school‑age. Founded in 1991 and re‑established in 2007 by seasoned childcare professional Mary Whitney, the crèche provides full‑day care Monday to Friday, opening at 7.30 am and closing at 6.00 pm, with the sole exception of Bank Holidays.

The centre’s key services include freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals tailored to individual allergies and dietary requirements, and a secure, enclosed outdoor play area surrounded by gardens for year‑round recreation. With a maximum capacity of 45 children (including seven babies), Bright Start maintains small group ratios and benefits from a dedicated team that features a state‑registered paediatric nurse. The crèche also participates in the government Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) scheme and the Childcare Education and Training Support (CETS) scheme, ensuring high‑quality educational programmes that support each child’s unique development.
