Cairde Festival Company Limited by Guarantee is the charitable organisation behind the Cairde Sligo Arts Festival, a vibrant eight-day celebration of music, literature, dance, theatre, circus and visual spectacle that lights up Sligo each July. The festival's 2025 programme showcases a diverse mix of events - from a vintage fundraising ball and literary conversations with authors such as Elaine Garvey, Seán Farrell and Eoin McNamee, to contemporary dance, outdoor circus performances and cross-cultural music collaborations - all designed to bring joy and artistic excitement to local audiences and visiting guests.

Beyond the main programme, Cairde offers workshops, volunteer opportunities and a regular newsletter to keep supporters informed of special offers and competitions. As a non-profit, the festival relies on the generosity of patrons, sponsors, funders and individual donors, and welcomes volunteers aged 18 and over to help with stewarding, box-office duties and artist care.
