CHIFUNDO FOUNDATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Chifundo Foundation Company Limited By Guarantee is a charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults in Zomba, Malawi. By providing essential food supplies, school fees, uniforms, nutritional meals and educational resources, the foundation seeks to break the cycle of poverty through education and skills development. Recent initiatives have included the distribution of maize and beans to families affected by food-price spikes, the successful completion of national examinations by six students, and the graduation of the foundation's first university graduate in Business and Accounting.

Fundraising is driven by a vibrant community of supporters in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg, most notably through the annual Chifundo Golf Classic held at Greystones Golf Club. Proceeds from the golf events, a charitable cookbook and other donations fund scholarships, carpentry and tailoring workshops, and the ongoing operation of the learning centre. Through these combined efforts, Chifundo creates lasting opportunities that empower young Malawians to achieve their full potential.
