CO. WICKLOW COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

County Wicklow Community Partnership (CWP) is a not-for-profit Local Development Company dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities across County Wicklow. Since its formation in 2009, CWP has administered a wide range of national programmes and locally-driven initiatives, working in partnership with the Irish Local Development Network, local authorities and community groups.

The partnership's portfolio includes the LEADER Rural Development Programme, the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP), Healthy Food Made Easy, Rural Recreation, Social Prescribing, and targeted projects such as the East Coast Regional Drugs and Alcohol Task Force, the Community Tobacco Project and the Wicklow Child & Family Project. Through its Employment & Enterprise, Community & Voluntary and Family Supports streams, CWP provides training, advice and funding to help people start businesses, improve health outcomes and build resilient, inclusive communities.

Guided by a voluntary board, CWP operates on values of respect, integrity, person-centred service and community-led decision-making, ensuring that its programmes respond directly to the needs identified by the people they serve.
