Company Description
Since 1995, Louth Local Development CLG has been a trusted public‑service partner delivering a suite of programmes that tackle social and economic disadvantage across County Louth – and, through three sites in County Meath, supporting both urban and rural communities. Their core mission is to empower individuals, families and neighbourhoods, helping them to participate fully in an inclusive, diverse and sustainable county.
The organisation runs a range of specialist initiatives, including the Social Inclusion Community & Activation Programme (SICAP), the Rural Development (LEADER) scheme, the Local Area Employment Service and the Louth ABC programme. These programmes provide training, employment and enterprise support, early‑years and family services, as well as health and wellbeing projects, all designed to foster social inclusion, rural regeneration and community development. With over 90 staff members operating from six locations in Louth, Louth Local Development works hand‑in‑hand with local partners, voluntary groups and statutory agencies, ensuring that the voices of the people they serve shape every service they deliver.
