Clare Local Development Company (CLDC) is a community‑led, not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people across County Clare. Working hand‑in‑hand with individuals, families, community groups and partner organisations, CLDC helps residents build a brighter future for their localities through a wide range of support services and development programmes.

The company’s core specialisations include community development, social inclusion, wellbeing, sustainability and climate action, enterprise and employment. It offers mentoring, training and grant assistance for community groups, guidance for start‑ups and not‑for‑profits, and pathways to meaningful work through initiatives such as Tús and the Local Area Employment Service.
