Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (KWW SPCA) is a charitable animal-welfare organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing dogs and cats throughout the Kildare and West Wicklow area. Operating a modern shelter situated between Athgarvan and Twomilehouse near Newbridge, the society provides a safe haven for stray and surrendered animals, ensuring each resident is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before being matched with a new family.

The KWW SPCA's core services include a vibrant adoption programme for both dogs and cats. Dogs are housed in the shelter or foster homes, while all cats live with foster families, allowing prospective owners to meet them in a relaxed environment. In addition, the society runs Noah's Ark, a charitable shop in Newbridge whose profits are channelled directly into the care of the animals, making it a vital source of funding for the organisation's work.
