Saolta Arts Company Limited by Guarantee is a charitable organisation dedicated to bringing the transformative power of the arts into health‑care settings. Working on behalf of Arts and Health, Saolta Arts creates bespoke creative programmes that enrich the lives of patients, families and staff across hospitals in the Galway region.

Their flagship offering, the “Menu of Poems 2024”, curated by poet Jane Clarke, presents a collection of verses that have resonated deeply with readers—from a patient at Galway University Hospital who praised the blend of poetry and porridge, to a parent who described the experience as “magical”. In addition, Saolta Arts runs interactive workshops such as *A Bird at My Window and Other Stories* (part of *The Deepest Shade of Green*) and a Dialysis Art Programme at Merlin Park University Hospital, giving participants the chance to rediscover imagination and creative expression.
