Waterford Intellectual Disability Association (WIDA) is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting adults and children with an intellectual disability and/or autism. Operating across Waterford and South Kilkenny, WIDA delivers personalised, community-based care that enables individuals to live independently in their own homes while receiving the support they need.

Key services include tailored respite breaks at the Robin Hill and Summerville centres, where small groups of up to five people can enjoy a change of environment in a safe, supportive setting. WIDA also runs a fully accessible hydrotherapy pool, specially designed for people with disabilities or limited mobility, offering therapeutic swimming sessions that promote physical wellbeing and confidence.
