THE MILITARY & HOSPITALLER ORDER OF SAINT LAZARUS OF JERUSALEM, GRAND PRIORY OF IRELAND

The Military & Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, Grand Priory of Ireland, is an ecumenical Order of Chivalry with roots stretching back to the 4th century. Today the Order, under the 50th Grand Master His Excellency Francisco de Borbon Graf von Hardenberg and Spiritual Protector His Beatitude Youssef Absi, continues its historic mission by promoting inter-faith dialogue and charitable giving throughout Ireland and beyond.

Since its introduction to Ireland in 1962 by Lord Dunsany, the Grand Priory has become a recognised charitable organisation (CHY 18737). Its core activity is the mobilisation of members - known as Chevaliers - to support inter-faith initiatives and to raise substantial funds for a wide range of charitable causes both at home and internationally.

Through these endeavours the Order seeks to embody its chivalric values, fostering goodwill, cultural understanding and tangible assistance for those in need across the island.
