IRISH TAEKWON-DO ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Taekwon-Do Association (ITA) is the sole recognised member of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) within the IMAC framework and the Sport Ireland-approved national governing body for martial arts in Ireland. As a company limited by guarantee, the ITA delivers a comprehensive programme for practitioners, instructors and clubs, ranging from grassroots development to elite competition.

Members benefit from a full calendar of events, including ITA-organised tournaments, black-belt grading sessions, umpire training, summer camps and technical seminars. The association also provides coach-education pathways, safeguarding guidance, anti-doping resources and a suite of instructional materials to help clubs open new schools, promote the sport and maintain high standards of practice. Through its National Team programme, athletes can aim for selection to represent Ireland at the European and World Championships.
