Social Entrepreneurs Ireland (SEI) is the national hub for social entrepreneurship, dedicated to accelerating lasting change by backing visionary changemakers. Operating as a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity, SEI seeks out individuals and organisations with scalable ideas that address pressing social challenges, then provides them with a deeper level of support to grow their impact. Through a blend of targeted programmes, direct funding, and a substantial pool of pro-bono expertise, SEI has already supported more than 660 social entrepreneurs across the country, channeling over €14 million in financial and in-kind resources and delivering an average of €500 000 worth of pro-bono expertise each year.

The organisation's offering includes the free Spark Toolkit for budding entrepreneurs, the Investor Readiness Pathway, and a vibrant alumni network that spans sectors such as mental health, homelessness, the environment, education and employment. SEI also engages businesses, philanthropists and foundations, inviting them to contribute skills, resources and mentorship to amplify the work of its social-enterprise community. By fostering human-first relationships and championing diversity and inclusivity, SEI is helping to shape a more equitable and innovative Ireland.
