Amnesty International Irish Section Company Limited By Guarantee is the Irish arm of a worldwide human-rights movement that unites more than 10 million people across 150 countries. Since its founding in 1961, the organisation has campaigned tirelessly to protect fundamental freedoms - from abolishing the death penalty and safeguarding free speech to confronting the human-rights impacts of climate change and natural disasters.
