FONDÚIREACHT NA GAEILGE

Fondúireacht na Gaeilge is a charitable foundation dedicated to raising private funding for Irish-language initiatives across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Its core mission is to support projects that promote the Irish language in education and community settings, ensuring that the language continues to thrive for future generations.

The foundation offers a range of ways for supporters to contribute, including one-off donations and regular "ordú seasta" pledges, which can be made via PayPal or a downloadable form. In addition to fundraising, Fondúireacht na Gaeilge publishes resources such as *An Leabhar Órga* and organises events like the Summer School in Ceatharlach, which focuses on the development of the land and language. By channel-lining contributions directly to Irish-language projects, the organisation aims to secure an annual income of around €150,000 to sustain its work.

Operating on a national scale, Fondúireacht na Gaeilge serves schools, community groups and anyone with an interest in preserving and revitalising the Irish language, inviting the public to "déan teangmháil linn" and become part of a vibrant linguistic community.
