DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not-for-profit public-service organisation dedicated to supporting children and families across the greater Leinster region. Drawing on a strengths-based, solution-focused approach, DoCCFS delivers therapeutic and supportive interventions that aim to preserve the dignity and potential of every person, especially those at risk.

DoCCFS operates a suite of specialist services, including Family Centres for children up to 18 years and their carers, an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS) for infants and toddlers, a Dublin Safer Families Service that provides a therapeutic response to domestic violence, and dedicated Assessment and Gender, Sexual & Domestic Abuse teams. In 2024 the organisation supported 4,246 individuals, with 2,225 children and 2,021 parents or guardians receiving direct assistance, and completed 428 initial assessments. Notably, 27 % of children in the ECDS had additional needs, and 92 were living in Direct Provision centres.
